MAAC selects club MATS to host the F5J TS
Fabien Gagné, MAAC’s Sailplane Committee chairperson, announced today that club MATS in Les Cèdres (Québec) will host this year’s national team selection for the 2023 F5J World Championship, should we have 4 or more registrations.
MATS was selected following MAAC’s request for proposal process that ended yesterday, February 26th 2022. The top 3 pilots selected during this contest will form Team Canada F5J 2023 and will represent Canada at the World Championship in Bulgaria next year.
The host club offered to host the contest on a choice of 3 different weekends, all in August this year. Soon after the closing of the pilots registrations, on May 21st, the contest director Jacques Girard will be invited to communicate directly with the registered pilots to agree on one these weekends :
- August 5, 6 and 7th 2022
- August 12, 13 and 14th 2022
- August 19, 20 and 21st 2022
Pilot can register until May 21st 2022.
