MAAC supports its FAI delegate
Great news !
Last night the MAAC Board of Directors voted to name our new MAAC FAI Committee Chairman Harry Ells as our FAI representative at the FAI CIAM commission AND to reinstate his travel budget.
As a consequence, your donations are not required anymore for this purpose.
We were planning to leave the excess donations, if any, in our Athlete’s Development Fund (ADF), but this is a different turnout than planned. So we’ve been asking each of the donors what they would like to do : reimburse totally, partially or leave their donation in the fund.
The Athlete’s Development Fund will be distributed to our pilots going to the F5J World Championship in 2019. We expect to send a full team of 3 senior pilots.
Again thanks everybody who has supported this group action through emails, posts and their financial support, it worked !
By the way, we’ve launched this new fundraising campaign to further fulfill our ADF.
